Paradise Lost Essay Topic - Satan As Tragic Hero

Paradise Lost Essay Topic - Satan As Tragic HeroIn the Paradise Lost Essay Topic on essay writing, the dramatic hero in a biblical story is Satan. Satan's history is just as tragic as the hero's history. Satan was created in God's image, and he was given the ability to control humans. But, when he failed to follow God's directions, Satan was cast out of heaven.Satan then sought to control the human relationship. He did this by deceiving Adam and Eve into eating the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. As a result, they became mortal and their humanity was lost. Satan then convinced Eve to disobey God's command to stop eating the fruit and to eat it.After the Fall, Satan entered into a life of crime, seeking to control the people of earth. And yet, he still craved to be God's perfect follower. In the end, he fell from his place of glory and had to return to earth to battle God.Satan once again defied God's command by turning to a new woman and seducing her. Thi s new woman, Eve, was warned by God not to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. So, she disobeyed God's command, causing her to become mortal.Lucifer fell from heaven after the Fall. Lucifer's mistake was not following God's leadership in leading humanity away from the path of righteousness. Lucifer's plan was to gather all of the people into one place and command them to worship the fallen angel.Lucifer was unable to gather humanity because of his rebellion against God and as a result, Adam and Eve were taken down to earth. And, so, Adam and Eve disobeyed God's command to be fruitful and multiply and instead created the world we see today. From our modern perspective, Satan is viewed as a tragic hero in our history. We see Satan's downfall and fall as the story of the Fall of Man. However, the story of Satan, his fall, and his redemption is one of the most important Biblical stories of all time. It is also an interesting study for a student who wishes to resear ch the life of Satan and understand his role in our history. The tragic hero of the story is one who never lived up to his full potential. Satan was incapable of following God's instructions in being righteous. But, in the end, Satan turned from his moral code and destroyed his family. This brings to light that the tragic hero's story is not one of happiness and the ending is not happy.
